Michael Brockers, Rams Agree on New Contract: Latest Details, Reaction

The Los Angeles Rams and defensive lineman Michael Brockers reportedly reached an agreement Tuesday on a three-year contract extension through the 2019 season.
Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch first reported word of the new deal, and Josina Anderson of ESPN confirmed the details of the contract.
Brockers is currently in the final season of his rookie contract, which carries a cap hit of just over $6.1 million for the 2016 campaign, according to Spotrac. He could have become an unrestricted free agent next offseason without the extension.
