On Sunday, four men served as head coach of an NFL team for the first time. Three of the four (Doug Pederson of the Kansas City Chiefs, Dirk Koetter of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Bob McAdoo of the New York Giants) won that debut, with only Adam Gase’s Miami Dolphins preventing a clean sweep by the new guys.
