Basketball Champions League – Besiktas sign Kenan Sipahi

Kenan Sipahi Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (BSL) signed 21-year old Turk international point guard Kenan Sipahi (197-85kg-95). He is a dual citizen owning also Kosovan passport. Sipahi played last season at Pinar Karsiyaka (BSL). He managed to play in three leagues last year. In 31 games he had 7.6ppg, 2.4rpg and 3.5apg. Sipahi helped them to make it to the cup final. A very impressive season as he was named to Turkish League All-Star Game. Sipahi also played 10 games in Euroleague where he recorded 5.3ppg, 1.1rpg and 3.7apg. And finally he contributed to 7 games in Eurocup where he averaged 6.4ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.4apg. The previous (14-15) season Sipahi played at Fenerbahce (TBL).
