Romelu Lukaku ended his wait for a first Everton goal of the new season in spectacular fashion as he scored a hat-trick in their 3-0 win over Sunderland.
The Belgian striker had last netted for the Goodison Park side in their 2-0 FA Cup win over Chelsea on March 12.
That meant by the time he got his first at the Stadium of Light, Lukaku had gone 1,139 minutes without netting for the Merseysiders.
