‘CM Punk’ Pockets $500,000 Payday in UFC 203 Debut; Alistair Overeem Nets $800,000

No one can say Phil Brooks walked away from his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut empty-handed. Brooks, aka “CM Punk,” earned $500,000 in his first-round submission loss to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 “Miocic vs. Overeem” on Saturday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
