The Queen’s Royal Ascot hero Dartmouth is the standout name entered in the Dubai Duty Free Legacy Cup at Newbury on Saturday.
The Hardwicke Stakes winner ran a fine race to finish third in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes in July and could have his sights lowered by Sir Michael Stoute at the weekend, for the Group Three formerly known as the Arc Trial.
Stoute could also saddle the progressive Kings Fete, while Journey is in line to make his first appearance for John Gosden since winning the Pinnacle Stakes at Haydock in May.
Almodovar, Ayrad, Berkshire and The Grey Gatsby are also on the 19-strong list, with the Joseph O’Brien-trained Ol’ Man River – a one-time Classic hope when trained by his father Aidan …
