The 2016-17 UEFA Champions League finally kicks off Tuesday, pitting the top clubs across Europe against each other, with the famous Old Big Ears trophy on the line.
Week 1 will immediately produce several tantalising encounters, as Arsenal visit Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus play host to Sevilla and Manchester City welcome Borussia Monchengladbach.
PSV Eindhoven and Atletico Madrid meet in a repeat of last year’s fantastic clash in the knock-out stages, champions Real Madrid host Sporting, Celtic visit Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur host AS Monaco.

The 2016-17 Champions League will start off with a bang, as PSG and Arsenal come face-to-face in Paris in a clash that will go a long way toward deciding Group A.
Both teams are expected to advance from the group, but with giants-slayers FC Basel also in the group, things won’t be easy. Bulgaria’s Ludogorets Razgrad complete the foursome.
PSG are the favourites for the top spot, but Les Parisiens haven’t started the Ligue 1 campaign in top form, grabbing a close win over SC Bastia on Matchday 1 and losing to AS Monaco in their last match.
