Chris Ivory Injury: Updates on Jaguars RB’s Calf, Illness and Return

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory has been dealing with a calf injury, but was hospitalized Sunday due to an illness. It is uncertain when he will be ready to return to the field.

Ivory Hospitalized, Out vs. Packers Sunday, Sept. 11
The Florida Times-Union’s Ryan O’Halloran reported that Ivory will not play on Sunday against Green Bay after being admitted to the hospital due to a “general medical issue.” O’Halloran noted Ivory was originally listed as questionable to play as a result of a calf injury.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that “Ivory will be reevaluated for his issue late this week, I’m told. His availability for Week 2 will hinge on what he learns.”
