In a big fight from London, Gennady Golovkin succesfully defended his Middleweight title against Welterweight world champion Kell Brook. GGG took the win via 5th round stoppage. The end was a bit ugly, as Brook was taking a lot of shots and his corner tried desperately to wave the fight off, but the referee did not see them for some time. Eventually they threw in the towel, and the fight came to an end.
