Magical to be eased in grade

Magical Memory is set to be eased in grade for a confidence-boosting run in next month’s Bengough Stakes at Ascot.
The Charlie Hills-trained four-year-old is being lined up to tackle the six-furlong Group Three contest before taking on a potential trip to America for the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint.
After winning his first two starts of the season, the son of Zebedee has finished out of the frame in three subsequent outings at Group One level, with the latest coming in Saturday’s Sprint Cup at Haydock Park where he trailed home last.
