Leading Investec Derby contender Escobar will bid to extend his unbeaten record in the Somerville Tattersall Stakes later this month at Newmarket’s Cambridgeshire Meeting.
Trainer Hugo Palmer is to step up in class with the son of Famous Name for the seven-furlong Group Three prize on September 22.
After making a winning debut at Newbury in July, the two-year-old demonstrated a good turn of foot to make it two wins from as many starts in a Listed event his return to the track last month.
