Martin J Ward punished Andy Townend over eight dominant rounds to capture the British super-featherweight title on Saturday.
The unbeaten Essex-based puncher (15-0) continually landed powerful shots to slowly dismantle Townend until the referee stopped a fight that could have ended even earlier.
