Ethier returns for first time this season

MIAMI — Outfielder Andre Ethier, out since fracturing his right leg in Spring Training, was activated by the Dodgers on Saturday.
“He’s going to get some occasional starts, going to be used off the bench, pinch-hitting in big spots,” manager Dave Roberts said. “A lot of it is contingent on his leg and what makes him feel good baseball-wise.”
Ethier went 9-for-31 (.290) with four doubles and three RBIs in nine Minor League rehab games at Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga. He was injured fouling a pitch off his leg on March 16, sustaining a spiral fracture that took longer to heal than …
