Gallagher grabs point for Blackburn

Blackburn remain at the foot of the Sky Bet Championship table despite Sam Gallagher earning them a 1-1 draw against QPR at Loftus Road.
Gallagher headed home Corry Evans’ cross eight minutes after a superb goal from Tjaronn Chery, who found the top corner with a sublime left-footed free-kick from 30 yards on 65 minutes.
The point was not enough to prevent an angry reaction from the away support, who made their frustration clear by chanting for Venky’s, the club’s owners, to sell up.
And Blackburn might have even come away empty handed had QPR’s new signing Idrissa Sylla not missed a golden chance late on.
