Pence sparks offense, saves Giants on defense

PHOENIX — When Hunter Pence wasn’t leading the Giants’ offense, he was saving them on defense.
Pence paced a productive effort from the second half of San Francisco’s batting order Friday night by going 4-for-5 and scoring four runs.
