Daniel Jacobs is targeting a clash with Gennady Golovkin after retaining his WBA middleweight title with a knockout victory over Sergio Mora in Pennsylvania on Friday night.
The American (32-1 KO29) produced a dominant performance at the Santander Arena, knocking Mora (28-5-2 KO9) down five times on his way to victory, with referee Gary Rosato calling time on the bout in the seventh round.
In the aftermath of his victory, Jacobs insisted Golovkin was the man he wanted to face next, but only if the Kazakh knockout specialist secured victory over Kell Brook at The O2 Arena on Saturday night.
