Blackmon, Chatwood ignite Rox offense

SAN DIEGO — Tyler Chatwood came through for the Rockies on both sides of the ball Friday night, leading Colorado to a 4-1 win over the Padres after tallying a pair of hits and allowing one run over 6 2/3 innings on the mound. With the victory, Colorado matched its 68-game win total from last season.
Chatwood singled in the third before scoring on Charlie Blackmon’s two-run homer one batter later, and ended the night of San Diego starter Luis Perdomo when he hit a two-RBI triple — the first of his career — with two outs in the top of the seventh.
