Official: Rashad Evans slated to face Tim Kennedy at UFC 205 in NY

Rashad Evans isn’t hanging up the gloves just yet. The UFC veteran and former light heavyweight champion will be dropping down to the middleweight division to take on Tim Kennedy at UFC 205 in New York, MMA Fighting recently confirmed.
Evans, who made his UFC debut as a heavyweight after winning season 2 of The Ultimate Fighter, has lost back-to-back fights to Ryan Bader and Glover Teixeira. At UFC on FOX 19 against Teixeira, ‘Suga’ suffered his first knockout loss in seven years, when the 36-year-old lost his LHW title to Lyoto Machida in 2009.
