The 2016 U.S. Open final is set with Novak Djokovic seeking his second straight win at this tournament against Stan Wawrinka on Sunday.
Djokovic reached the final with a bizarre four-set win over Gael Monfils. Wawrinka weathered an early storm to defeat Nishikori in the semifinal and reach his first-ever U.S. Open final.

Final Prediction
Under normal circumstances, Djokovic would be the favorite in a head-to-head matchup against Wawrinka.
These, however, are not normal circumstances. Djokovic has had shoulder problems throughout the U.S. Open, including taking a medical timeout in the fourth set against Monfils so a trainer could work on his right shoulder.
It was apparent throughout the semifinal match that Djokovic was not right, with CNN World Sport’s Ravi Ubha tweeting out how one stat illustrated how bad the world’s best player was serving against Monfils:
