– As noted, The Big Show snapped the ring rope when attempting to splash John Cena at today’s WWE live event in Manila. WWE posted the video above of the closing moments from the match, as well as Cena’s post-match celebration.
– WWE recently added “The Last Battle of Atlanta” match between Tommy Rich and Buzz Sawyer from 1983 to the “Hidden Gems” collection on the WWE Network. WWE.com has an interview here with Shawn Michaels, Rich, Bill Apter and Paul Ellering discussing the match, with Michaels stating that the cage used in the match was the inspiration for what became the Hell In A Cell.
