Wagner claims August award

Huddersfield manager David Wagner and Barnsley midfielder Conor Hourihane have been named as the Sky Bet Championship Manager and Player of the Month for August.
Terriers boss Wagner takes his award after guiding Huddersfield to the top of the Championship table, with four wins and a draw from their opening five league fixtures.
“Everyone here has worked unbelievably hard during pre-season and during August and they have earned the results that the team enjoyed,” he said.
“We are workers, not dreamers, so nobody here is getting carried away.”
Meanwhile Hourihane, who was named Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for August 2014, has once again been rewarded after helping newly-promoted Barnsley to third in the table.
