Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman Jared Odrick is being held out of the team’s Week 1 preparations after suffering a head injury during Wednesday’s practice following a hit to the jaw.

Odrick’s Return Unknown After Practice Injury Thursday, Sept. 8
Jaguars senior manager of public relations Tad Dickman confirmed Thursday the 28-year-old veteran has been placed in the NFL’s concussion protocol and will need to receive clearance before returning to action.
