Jose Mourinho to Reportedly Ask Pep Guardiola for a Drink After Manchester Derby

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will reportedly attempt to “bury the hatchet” with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and invite him for a drink following Saturday’s huge derby at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese coach has reportedly restored Sir Alex Ferguson’s office at the Theatre of Dreams to its previous state—after former boss Louis van Gaal converted it to an analysis room—so that he can continue the tradition of inviting his opposite numbers for a post-match drink.
According to the Sun’s Neil Custis, long-term nemesis Guardiola will be no exception despite Mourinho and the former Barcelona manager’s long-term and public feud.
Mourinho, 53, once admitted to Cadena Ser that he and the 45-year-old Guardiola were “close” when they were both part of the Barcelona setup under manager Sir Bobby Robson (h/t the Daily Mail’s Ian Ladyman).
