Mariners extend relationship with AquaSox

SEATTLE — The Mariners’ relationship with the Class A Everett AquaSox franchise will continue through at least 2020 as the club announced a four-year extension of their player developmental contract on Wednesday.
The current deal was set to run out at the end of this season.
“The Mariners are excited to be able to extend our relationship with the AquaSox,” Mariners director of player development Andy McKay said. “We are in a unique situation having our Northwest affiliate so close to Seattle.
