Predators Rookie Camp Opens Sept. 15

Nashville, Tenn. (September 7, 2016) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that Nashville Predators prospects will report to town on Thursday, Sept. 15, before heading to Coral Springs, Fla., the following day for a Rookie Tournament against teams from the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Washington Capitals from Sept. 16-20 at Panthers Ice Den.
The Predators team, comprised of signed and unsigned draft picks, free-agent signings and free-agent tryouts, will be coached by Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) Head Coach Dean Evason and Assistant Coaches Stan Drulia and Scott Ford. Among the 22 players scheduled to participate are first-round pick Kevin Fiala (11th overall in 2014) and second-round selections Jack Dougherty (2014), 2016 AHL All-Star Vladislav Kamenev (2014) and Samuel Girard (2016). Also participating will be goaltender prospect Juuse Saros, ranked third among all goaltending prospects in the world by ESPN.
