Emmanuel Sanders was preparing to enter 2016 as one of the NFL’s most underpaid receivers, but that’s no longer the case.
The Denver Broncos and Sanders agreed to a new three-year extension on Wednesday, per general manager John Elway:

NFL Network’s James Palmer reported Sanders’ three-year extension is worth $33 million.
Sanders, 29, was due to make $5.6 million in base salary in 2016, per Spotrac. He was heading into the final season of the three-year, $15 million deal he originally signed with Denver as a free agent in 2014.
