Joey Bosa Injury: Updates on Chargers DE’s Leg and Return

The San Diego Chargers hoped to bolster their pass-rush when they drafted Joey Bosa, but the No. 3 overall pick is currently sidelined as he nurses a leg injury.

Bosa Out For Week 1 Clash with Chiefs Wednesday, Sept. 7
According to 1090 Sports Radio’s Marty Caswell, Bosa told reporters it’s “frustrating and annoying” that he won’t play Sunday, but added “it is what it is.” Bosa also reiterated that he’s been feeling better of late, even though his leg was wrapped at Wednesday’s practice.
After ranking just 24th in sacks during the 2015 season, the Bolts decided to make Bosa the first non-quarterback to be selected in the 2016 NFL draft.
The two-time All-American at Ohio State registered 26 sacks and 51 tackles …
