Blackhawks announce 2016-17 local television schedule

In conjunction with official television broadcasting partners Comcast SportsNet and WGN-TV Channel 9, the Chicago Blackhawks today announced the 2016-17 regular-season local television schedule. Locally, 71 Blackhawks games will air on Comcast SportsNet and WGN-TV. The 11 remaining games will be broadcast exclusively on NBC (including NBC and NBCSN).
Chicago’s 12th consecutive campaign on Comcast SportsNet features 51 contests, beginning with the team’s first road game on Friday, Oct. 14, at Nashville at 7:00 p.m. CT. “Blackhawks Pregame Live” will air prior to every game on Comcast SportsNet, with “Blackhawks Postgame Live” immediately following each contest.
