Davis’ exit precautionary due to hand soreness

ST. PETERSBURG — Chris Davis exited the O’s 11-2 win over the Rays on Tuesday night in the fifth inning with left hand soreness, though he doesn’t expect to miss any time.
“It’s in his palm a little bit, something he’s had for a couple of months,” Orioles manager Buck Showalter said. “Just talked to [Davis] a little bit between innings and decided not to take a chance potentially.
