Duke Roufus suggests Anthony Pettis vs. Max Holloway at UFC 205

The UFC’s featherweight division has a new contender, and it’s former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. “Showtime” choked out Charles Oliveira in the 3rd round of their UFC on FOX 21 co-main event, snapping Pettis’ three-fight losing skid and getting him a debut win in his new weight class.
With Pettis (19-5) currently ranked #6, he’s not too far out from a title shot against whomever the champion is — whether it’s Conor McGregor, or if McGregor vacates, Jose Aldo gets promoted to full champion status. In a recent appearance on ESPN’s 5 Rounds Podcast, Duke Roufus went through the list of highly ranked 145ers, and suggested Max Holloway could be next for Pettis.
