Markel Brown to Cavaliers: Latest Contract Details, Comments, Reaction

The Cleveland Cavaliers signed Markel Brown on Tuesday, giving him a chance to earn a roster spot for the regular season, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.
Sam Amico of Amico Hoops later confirmed the news of the free-agent addition.
A former second-round pick out of Oklahoma State, Brown produced solid numbers mostly in reserve for the Brooklyn Nets. He played in 109 games over his first two seasons, starting 35, while averaging 5.3 points per game.
Last season, the 6’3″ guard averaged 13.3 points per 36 minutes. He also played significantly more minutes under head coach Tony Brown after Lionel Hollins was fired.
