CFKF grants over $2.6 million in its 30th year

VANCOUVER, BC –The Canucks for Kids Fund (CFKF) is pleased to announce over $2.6 million was raised during the 2015.16 season, thanks to the support and donations from fans, partners and generous supporters.
“On behalf of the Canucks for Kids Fund board, it is very gratifying to be able to grant over $2.6 million to such worthy recipients,” said Paolo Aquilini, Alternate Governor, Canucks Sports & Entertainment and President of the Canucks for Kids Fund Board. “Through the generosity of our incredible fans, donors and partners, the Canucks for Kids Fund continues to help brighten the lives of children and families across B.C.”
This year’s core grant recipients include Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and BC Children’s Hospital. Additional grant recipients include the Canucks Centre for BC Hockey, Canucks Family Education Centre, Canucks Power Play Program, Fin’s Friends, Arts Umbrella, BC Women’s Hospital, Boys & Girls Club of South Coast BC, Boys Club Network, Britannia Hockey Academy, Family Services of Greater Vancouver, Kidsafe, PALS Autism School, ProActive, Rare Disease Foundation, Sarah McLachlan School of Music and YWCA Metro Vancouver.
