Mariners recall Aoki from Triple-A Tacoma

SEATTLE — Outfielder Norichika Aoki has been recalled from Triple-A Tacoma and will be in uniform for the Mariners’ game on Tuesday night against the Rangers at Safeco Field.
The 34-year-old was optioned to Tacoma on Aug. 26 and played eight games for the Rainiers, hitting .226 (7-for-31) with four runs, one double and one home run. He was 4-for-12 over his past four games.
Aoki was hitting well for Seattle prior to being optioned, batting .316 with a .362 on-base percentage in 31 games after being recalled from a prior midseason stint with Tacoma. But with …
