Eric Rowe to Patriots: Latest Trade Details, Comments, Reaction

The New England Patriots reportedly acquired cornerback Eric Rowe in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday in exchange for offensive lineman Josh Kline and a 2018 draft pick.
Adam Schefter of ESPN first reported the agreement. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network noted a source stated the draft pick is a conditional fourth-rounder in 2018 that could improve to a third. The pick will be determined by how much playing time Rowe gets in New England, per Rapoport.

Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston provided the financial details of Rowe’s arrival to New England, which Schefter reported has been in the works since last week:
Patriots inherit Eric Rowe contract that has cap hits of $1.1m in 2016, $1.3m in 2017 and $1.5m in 2018.
