Morecambe and Colchester have the chance of securing an awards double after the nominations were confirmed for the Sky Bet League Two Manager and Player Awards for August.
Shrimps boss Jim Bentley guided his side to four wins from five games during the month as they set the early pace in the division, with the 3-2 win at Accrington where they came from two-down to claim victory the pick of the bunch.
Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche earned a nomination in the player category on the back of a series of outstanding performances during August.
