Dani Osvaldo Reportedly Rejected Deadline-Day Transfer to Focus on Music Career

Normally, plenty of players seek transfers on deadline day, but for former Southampton forward Dani Osvaldo, it was quite the opposite on Wednesday.
Without a club, the ex-Italy international was reportedly handed the opportunity to sign for Serie A side Chievo, only to turn down the move as he wants to pursue a career in music.
The 30-year-old told as much to Italian television station Rai Sport (h/t the Southern Daily Echo), announcing his retirement from the game. Here’s a look at Osvaldo in action:
