Basketball Champions League – Ilkan Karaman agreed terms with Besiktas

IlkanKaraman Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (BSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old power forward Ilkan Karaman (205-90). He played most recently at Acibadem in the TBL. In 20 games he recorded 6.5ppg and 3.8rpg last season. Karaman helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.In 2012 he was drafted by Brooklyn Nets (NBA) in second round (57th overall).Among other achievements Karaman’s team won Turkish Cup in 2013.
