Nate Diaz in no hurry for Conor McGregor trilogy: ‘I think I beat him twice’

Nate Diaz considers the battle over and himself as the winner. He is in absolutely no rush to fight Conor McGregor for a third time.
Diaz told this to Chael Sonnen on his podcast this week. Diaz beat McGregor by second-round submission at UFC 196 in March and McGregor took the rematch by majority decision at UFC 202 two weeks ago. But Diaz maintains he was victorious in both matchups.
“It’s whatever to me,” Diaz said. “I won the fight. I’m not jumping for joy for round three. I think I beat him twice and it’s 2-0, as far as I’m concerned. If they’re gonna want to do it down the road, I don’t know. I’m not in a hurry. It’s all good.”
Diaz (19-11) probably has plenty of options in the table for his next fight. He has become over the last few months one one of the most popular names in the UFC. There are money fights for him down the line. He …
