News of Wednesday’s action from Bath where apprentice Georgia Cox enjoyed the first double of her career.
Jockey Georgia Cox enjoyed the first double of her career when steering Silverrica and Lapilli to victory at Bath.
The 7lb claimer got a dream run near the far rail on Silverrica (11-2) to repeat last year’s success in the Dribuild Group Apprentice Training Series Handicap for trainer Malcolm Saunders.
“You can easily put a line through last time because she slipped coming out of the stalls. That was her race over,” said Cox.
“This time everything went right for her. She’s a grinder and just keeps going.”
