Rasmus homers, turns DP in return to Astros

HOUSTON — The Astros activated outfielder Colby Rasmus from the 15-day disabled list before Tuesday’s game against the A’s at Minute Maid Park. Rasmus was in the starting lineup, playing left field and batting sixth.
Right-hander Brad Peacock was optioned to Triple-A Fresno to make room for the veteran outfielder.
