Yanks get 2 prospects to complete Nova deal

KANSAS CITY — The Yankees announced on Tuesday that they acquired outfielder Tito Polo and left-handed pitcher Stephen Tarpley from the Pirates, completing an Aug. 1 trade that sent right-hander Ivan Nova to Pittsburgh for two players to be named.
Tarpley was ranked as the Bucs’ No. 17 prospect and Polo was slotted as the No. 27 prospect, according to MLBPipeline.com.
