Britton Colquitt Released by Broncos: Latest Deails, Comments and Reaction

The Denver Broncos have released punter Britton Colquitt after six years with the organization, per Troy Renck of Denver7.
Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post previously reported the veteran had been asked to take a pay cut, although Mike Klis of 9News provided further explanation for the decision:
It wasn’t Colquitt didn’t accept pay cut. It was DEN offered 3-yr extension with $0 guar with AAV near/at bottom of veteran punters #9sports

Colquitt has played every game with the team since 2010, contributing to the Super Bowl title last season.
