Julian Sacks Wins WSOPC Foxwoods Main Event ($148,350)

Julian Sacks won his first World Series of Poker Circuit ring and $148,350 in prize money for taking down the $1,675 Main Event at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.
In the process, he more than doubled his career tournament cashes and secured a $10,000 seat at next year’s WSOP Global Casino Championship.
Official Final Table Results
The tournament drew 460 players for a $690,000 prize pool and 54 would advance to the payouts. Je Wook Oh (51st), Tim Reilly (23rd), Jose Montes (22nd), and defending champ Sam Taylor (19th) were some of the notables cashing in the event.
The final day of the tournament dawned on Monday with the official final table having already been reached as eight players remained. With blinds at Level 25 (12,000/24,000/4,000), Muhammad Abdel-Rahim held a big lead with 2.9 million while Sacks languished among a cluster of players with around 800,000, according to the live updates.
